This is the first build of the Episode 2.1.6 server. Your dalant and gold show on the character select screen.
What Works
Login, character select, world entry, spawning into the map, the starting quest firing and chaining, chat, and a clean logout. Monsters, items, stores and map spawns come from 2.1.6’s own game data, with real display names.
Two Gates Before You Can Play
The client ships with AhnLab’s HackShield, which cannot start against a private server, so the client quits before it reaches the network. A small tool that patches it comes with the download, with a switch to skip the startup movie as well.
2.1.6 is also the first version with an account PIN lock, and the client waits on the PIN screen until the server answers. The server accepts any PIN for now.
Known Issues
Movement, combat and everything past your first steps may still be broken.
